Week 53 occurs every 5-6 years (think of it as a leap year) and because of this, values allocated to certain weeks may vary.
When this occurs the fractional real estate calendar shifts by one week to accommodate non-fixed holidays – Christmas & New Years. Therefore, II’s CIG point balance, as advertised online, may not align with the redeemed points of the deposited week.
For example, week 50 in 2022 lands on December 10th & 11th, receiving points from tier 2. Week 50 in 2023 lands on December 16th & 17th, receiving points from tier 1 – where week 50 normally resides.
Only 12 weeks in Breckenridge are affected by this shift in dates – 6 of which swing into a lower balance & 6 of which swing into a higher balance.
*Additionally, Interval reserves the right to modify, from time to time, the Travel Demand Index value towards each calendar week along with the corresponding point values for such week. For more information, please see the Terms & Conditions.
