May a Bonus Week be split into smaller stays?
No.
Bonus Week inventory is for a full 7 nights. The week cannot be divided into more than one stay.
Can you find Hawaii using a Bonus Week?
No, for the most part.
It’s possible to book Hawaii using a Bonus Week, but extremely unlikely. This goes for all high-demand locations.
May I receive an additional unit for same time as my scheduled reservation?
Yes.
However, the owner or guest would need to use another form of inventory – Bonus Week, Deposit or Getaway. The availability for an additional unit for the same or consecutive dates is not guaranteed.
What size unit may I reserve?
Any size pending availability.
Most Bonus Weeks are given the opportunity to book up to a 3 bedroom. However, 2 & 3 bedrooms are hard to come by.
May I upgrade after the unit is booked?
Maybe.
ES quotes that all reservations are finale. Once the transaction is completed the confirmation will be for the unit size they reserved into. Re-trading the vacation to receive a larger unit is possible, however this transaction would require another exchange fee of $300 (on avg).
Can the owner or guest search availability for a POS BW?
Sort of, but not exactly.
Owners may visit bgvbonusweek.com to get an ‘idea’ for the various travel options that may be redeemed through their BW. They also may inquire Intervals online-resort directory for vacation ideas.
Owners & guests will not be able search on their own for availability. Best practice for the traveling party is to have an idea for the type of destinations & or regions they are interested in.
Is there a refund if the traveling party can no longer attend the vacation??
No.
Bonus Weeks are non-refundable reservations.
May I reschedule a reserved Bonus Week?
Yes.
We do state all reservations are final to ensure comfortability with the booking. However, they may re-trade the week upon availability & an additional exchange fee – $300 on avg.
