Owner Relations Remote Policy

Approved Locations
- Remote work is only allowed in the state of Colorado.
- If an employee is moving to a location outside of Summit County, in the State of Colorado, Human Resources must first validate that municipality. Employees should expect up to a three-week turnaround on validation.
Flexible Travel Remote Program
- Employees are always encouraged to use TOB instead of working on vacation or during travel.
- If an employee must leave their approved work location for a personal or family matter, they are encouraged to take advantage of the BGV Compassionate Leave program or talk to our benefits coordinator about family or personal leave.
- If any employee would like to travel and take advantage of remote work, Owner Relations will grant up to two business weeks consecutively, per year, to work remotely.
- The Flexible Travel Remote program is an Owner Relations benefit only.
- The Flexible Travel Remote program is for domestic travel only.
Grandfathered Exceptions
- Employees previously approved to work in a state outside of Colorado are allowed to continue working in their approved location.
- Employees looking to move to a new address in their previously approved state can do so if the location is validated by the Human Resources Department. Factors of this validation include taxes, benefits, and other state or municipal considerations.
- Employees should expect up to a three to four-week turnaround on validation.
- Employees are always allowed to move back to Colorado.
