May Bonus Weeks be split up into multiple, shorter stays?

No. Bonus Weeks are single bookings and only valid for 7-night vacations. 

Sales said this week is free; why am I being charged a fee?

Lot’s of things are said across a sales tour; miscommunication happens. The Bonus Week is free in the sense of having a certificate for a vacation priced at $300 (avg).

My certificate states it’s for a 3 Bedroom?

The certificate is not stating a guarantee for a 3-bedroom, rather, it’s stating eligibility for any unit size up to a 3-bedroom. Most exchanges under a Bonus week end up being studios or 1-bedrooms.

Do Bonus Weeks differ from one another?

Yes, each certificate varies in eligibility of unit size, available locations & dates, window of searching and cost.  

What if the vacation I want is not available; may I place a request list?

Certain locations will not become available under a certificate due to inventory and or black out restrictions. While few Bonus Weeks will allow you to place a request, it’s not recommended since a match is unlikely for a resort restricted from being booked by the certificate. 

Can I combine my Bonus Week with another Bonus Week or deposited time?

Certificates cannot be combined, per say, for one vacation. If looking to book multiple weeks, consecutive or concurrent, at the same location then you would need to check availability under each inventory item before committing to the strategy. 

The Bonus Week expires before I can travel; may I extend it?

Purchasing an extension is not recommended. Certificates may carry extension options, but most will not. Promotions and new Bonus Weeks to redeem will appear often.

Will the II Help Desk Team assist with waiving various restrictions?

Help Desk does not have the capability to modify or waive restrictions or fees on certificates. However, on a case-by-case basis, they may offer to issue a refund upon a Bonus Week cancelation.

II Quarterly Gift

Provided once a quarter. Varies in price and searchable travel window; highly restrictive regarding locations and dates. Within the certificate details, the internal comment:

VMP [date – date] Promotion.

Deposit Promotion

Arrives via mailer. Deposit must meet requirements stated by the promotion found under ‘my units’ on I-World. Less restrictive; price varies by unit size; active within 7 days of the deposit. Internal comment:

New Owner Incentive

Deposit winter or summer weeks across first 5 – 10 years ownership. Membership cannot lapse and each deposit must be 120+ days out. Less restrictive. $300 (avg). Internal comment:

BGV POS Bonus Week

Certificates serving comp/sale incentives. Expiration dates are protected by searching with an ES agent. Considered least restrictive; $274 + tax. Internal comments:
