Developer Weeks: Pre-deposited weeks with Interval; compensation owned by BGV. This form of compensation represents flexibility with options to book a full 7 night stay, 2 short stays (up to 1-6 nights each) and more. Developer Week’s are designed to be re-allocated to owners in need – typically for lost usage, emergencies, or, at your discretion (pending current status). Developer Weeks may also be referred to as DW’s or Bulk Bank.
Facts:
- Act just like deposits – week-for-week or as points.
- If as points, owners will never receive highest value.
- Same exchange fee of $239 applies for booking.
- Limited in number – do not offer as IOU.
- Worth $500 – $1,700 in value.
- AKA: ‘Bulk Bank’

Requirements to Receive
- Membership must be valid.
- No prior compensation (give or take).
- Main general space is full.
- DW inventory available.
- New owner.
How to Offer
- Check II membership.
- Check ES Developer Week status.
- Insert Deposit note in owner file.
- Deduct appropriate contract usage.
Disclosures
- Expiration 18 – 24 months.
- $239 exchange fee upon booking.
- May exchange for home resort (unless GC8)
- This is a one-time courtesy.
When will a Developer Week expire?
- All Developer Weeks expire within 18 – 24 months.
When may I offer a Developer Week?
- Owner is facing lost usage.
- Emergency situations.
- At your discretion.
How much is a Developer Week?
- $219 exchange fee upon booking.
- DW’s act the exact same way as a deposit.
Does the Interval Membership need to be valid?
- Yes – II membership MUST be valid before a DW can be loaded.
- If not valid or owner refuses to renew the DW may not be offered.
May I provide a Developer Week as an IOU?
- No – due to the limited number of inventory, DW compensation is applied within 48 hours.
Can a Developer Week be in the form of points
- Yes – however, point allocation will NEVER reflect top-tier point balances.
