“Block and Segment” is a categorized inventory system that only allows certain types of reservations to be assigned to it.
What does this mean?
Reservations will only be assigned to inventory based on the Block and Segment that is applicable.
For instance: You will not be able to assign an Owner Week into open inventory if that inventory is the Rental/Rental Block and Segment.

Tips for Booking
If you are looking for inventory for a reservation.
Just try and book the reservation. If you are able to assign the room, that means its available. If its making you overbook the reservation, that means your inventory is not available. Even if you see open space in the room matrix.
