Babysitting Policy
BGV Policy
We are no longer recommending any single babysitting company or individual babysitters because there’s too much liability towards BGV. We should provide owners and guests with professional companies and tell them to research each company on their own. Be sure to include that we don’t recommend one over the other and the owner should research each company and interview their babysitter before hiring.
We can never refer an employee or non-professional company (i.e. your friend) to babysit for an owner/guest. It’s a bit of a gray area if an owner/guest contacts an employee directly to ask them. BGV does not recommend that we allow this as it still leaves BGV with exposure and liability if something were to happen.
