What is the Trade Forum?

The Trade Forum allows BGV owners to connect with other owners to exchange reservations.

Owners may trade reservations:

• Between different residence sizes.
• Across different seasons.
• Between different BGV properties.

Trade Requirements

• Must own at the property if they wish to deposit
• No renting or self-renting  if they own at a different property
• A trade is only completed when both owners agree to the exchange.

Assisting Owners

BGV does not facilitate or monitor trades made through the Trade Forum.

If an owner contacts Owner Support:

• Assist them with navigating the Trade Forum or answering questions about how it works.
• You may help review current listings while the owner is on the phone.
• Do not recommend or endorse specific trades.

Tips for Owners

When speaking with owners, it may be helpful to share the following best practices:

• Be realistic. Low-demand weeks are unlikely to trade for high-demand weeks.
• Plan ahead. Listings posted 6 months or more before arrival generally have a better chance of finding a match.
• Be flexible. Owners who offer multiple weeks, seasons, or unit sizes are often more successful in arranging a trade.
